Lace Leotard - Red

Create your free Costume Source account and start booking your dance costumes in minutes. No commitment – just a faster, calmer way to costume your next show.

A striking red leotard made entirely from floral stretch lace, with long sleeves and a high neckline that create an elegant, covered-up silhouette. A small cold-shoulder cutout at the front adds an unexpected detail, while the sheer lace allows the skin to show through across the body and arms. Beneath the lace, a solid red bandeau and briefs provide coverage and keep everything in place. This bold, dramatic piece suits a lyrical or contemporary solo where stage presence is everything.

healing Past Perfect

These costumes aren't up to our normal high standards but still look great on stage!

Great if you are on a budget, they are still perfectly wearable and not ready for retirement yet.

Costumes in this range are showing more signs of wear and tear than we'd normally accept, so are available for hire at a significant saving. There might be some blemishes, fraying, small holes or damaged seams.

Nothing affects the wearability of the costume or the cleanliness.

● Your questions

How dance costume hire works

How long is a standard hire?
add

Our standard hire is 14 days, which fits most show schedules comfortably. If you need longer, you can extend your hire and the extra cost is shown at checkout.

When should I set my dates?
add

Choose a start date a few days before your first rehearsal or performance so the costumes arrive in good time. Your end date is when you send them back, usually a day or two after your last show.

Can I change my booking after I've booked?
add

Yes — you can amend your booking up until about a week before it starts. After that we begin picking your order and it's frozen. If the value drops below what you've paid, the difference is credited to your account.

Do I need to clean costumes before returning?
add

No, every costume is professionally wet-cleaned by our sister company, Costume Care, when it comes back to us.

How do I return everything?
add

For one or two boxes, drop them at any local parcel shop using the QR code we provide. For three or more, we'll arrange a DPD collection from an address of your choice. Keep the original boxes — you'll need them.

Sizing tips

check_circle The most important measurement is the Girth.

check_circle If a dancer is between two sizes, always opt for the larger size.

check_circle Because we stock lots of different styles from lots of different manufacturers, we standardise our sizes to make it easier for you.

Girth
With them standing straight, measure from the top of one shoulder, down the fullest part of their chest, through their legs and back up to the same shoulder.

Bust
With their arms down at their sides, measure the fullest part of their chest.

Waist
Ask them to bend to one side and place the start of the measure at the natural indentation. Once they have straightened up, measure from this point around the waist.

Hips
With their feet together, measure around the fullest part of their hips and bum.

Inseam
With them barefooted, measure the inner leg from their crotch to the floor.
